Introduction
The FDOT Safety Inventory is a management tool for the storage of safety materials from the FDOT D6. This tool facilitates material retrieval as well as material requests.
The Catalog, how to search, filter
The catalog can be accessed at this URL: https://fdotsafetyinventory.com. The Catalog displays a collection of materials organized by campaign, material type, and language. The material record displays its name, campaign, quantity, type, and language. Materials can be retrieved by searching or filtering the results. An image of the material is displayed for better reference.

How to edit a material
Users must log in with the Manager role in order to edit the material, as well as to access all of the management options that are visible once logged into the system.
The login access is located by scrolling down at the bottom of the site.

Once logged into the site, the material records will show more information (material’s location) and an icon to edit the material. The management menu is also displayed upon login.

Management sections
Dashboard
The Dashboard is the section that displays a summary of the system with charts and tables. It shows the statistics of requests and materials.

Material Table
All materials are organized in a table view in case managers need to export or print the catalog content.

Add Material
This is the form when you need to add a new material. The process is simple, and the upload photo is associated with a phone camera option so the process can be done from a phone or tablet.

Request Table
All the requests are organized in a table view in case managers need to export or print all the submitted requests.

All Requests
This is the request management section. Here you can search and filter the requests. A specific request can be opened and edited if necessary. When a note is added to a request and the checkbox is checked, the user who created the request receives a notification with the note.

Storage floor plan
The storage floor plan and organization criteria are presented here. Managers can use this page to understand how the catalog relates to the storage.

Request Material form
The material request form is an option for users to request Safety materials. Users open the website and after searching for the desired materials, they open the form and request the material by selecting the campaign, material, and quantity. This request is received by the manager and they proceed to deliver or pick up the materials.
